Michael Ugo routes deals between organizations that are looking for each other.

One company is buying. Another can supply it. Neither knows the other exists. MeritProcess finds both sides, confirms each wants the conversation, and establishes an introduction and connections between both sides.

Fees are agreed in writing before any introduction, and billed to the side that asked for it, or shared by both.

How two sides are matched before an introduction Illustrative example
  1. ProductBulk ingredient for two product lines Status: Matches ProductionProduces and processes that ingredient
  2. VolumeFull truckloads, every month Status: Matches Minimum orderNo small lots
  3. RegionSame state Status: Matches Ships toIn-state and neighboring states
  4. PaperworkSupplier documents before first order Status: Between them ComplianceDiscussed directly after introduction

How it works

No platform, no marketplace, no sales calls. Research on both sides, then one introduction.

  1. Find both sides

We look for organizations that are actively buying, hiring, raising or expanding, and for the ones positioned to meet that need.

  2. Confirm the interest

Each side tells us, in its own words, what it needs or offers, in what volume and on what timeline. Nobody is introduced on a guess.

  3. Check the other side

Before an introduction we review public records, licenses, filings and current activity, so you know who you're being connected to.

  4. Make the introduction

One email with both of you on it, saying who each party is and why the match makes sense. From there, the relationship is yours.

What the introduction includes

The introduction is the service. Everything you need to start the conversation arrives in that one email.

Pricing, terms, contracts and delivery are negotiated directly between the two organizations. MeritProcess does not take part.

Who it fits

Organizations with demand or supply already in motion, who would rather be introduced to the right counterpart than search for one.

  • Buyers with a recurring need

Companies and institutions that order the same inputs or services regularly and want another reliable source.

  • Suppliers and operators with capacity

Producers, contractors and service firms that can take on more volume and want buyers who are ready now.

  • Agencies, recruiters and capital partners

Teams whose business depends on meeting the right counterparties, and who want introductions with context.

  • Founders, wealth firms and banks

Operators with active mandates or timing windows who want to know whether a routed introduction can move a deal forward.

For example: a food manufacturer that buys an ingredient by the truckload, introduced to a producer that only sells in bulk. Or a facilities company introduced to an organization planning the work it does. These are illustrations, not past clients.

Common questions

Who pays for the introduction?

Usually the side that asked for it. In some cases both sides pay. Either way, the fee and who pays it are agreed in writing before the introduction is made, never after.

Do you represent either side?

No. MeritProcess works independently. We don't act as anyone's agent, broker or sales team.

Do you take part after the introduction?

No. Pricing, contracts, paperwork and delivery are between the two organizations. We don't manage the relationship or take a role in the deal unless that is agreed separately in writing.

Does an introduction guarantee a deal?

No. We confirm both sides are interested and check what we can from public records. Whether a deal happens is up to the two of you.

Will the other side know who I am before the introduction?

Only what you agree we can share. We describe each side to the other in general terms first, and give names and contact details once both say yes.

Do I need to get on a call?

No. Everything can happen by email. If you'd prefer to talk first, say so in your request.

Which industries do you work in?

Any where one organization's need and another's capacity can be clearly described. Tell us what you're looking for or what you offer, and we'll say whether it's a lane we can work.

Tell us what you need or what you can supply. Michael Ugo will review it and reply by email.

A consultation is a first look at whether there's a counterpart worth introducing you to. It is not a commitment from either side.
